  • Certified Athletic Trainer since 1988.
  • Professor at Grand Valley State University, physical therapy program.
  • Certification in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University completed a Masters degree in Health Science from Grand Valley State University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Education Leadership through Eastern Michigan University.
  • Was named by the Western District Michigan Physical Therapy Association, ‘Outstanding Physical Therapist’ for 1993.
  • Member of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Sports Section.
  • Currently serves as secretary of the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA.
  • Member of the National Athletic Therapy Association and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
  • Recently authored an article in BioMechanics Magazine on Glenohumeral Instability and its treatment. Contributed to two textbooks, “ The Athletic Female” and a new therapeutic exercise textbook entitled “ Therapeutic Exercise: Techniques for Intervention”.
